Nice to Meet You!
I'm Sil, a cosplayer born and raised in Southern Indiana! I grew up with a passion for creativity; getting involved in theater, choir, and sewing from a young age. I have carried this passion into my adult life, where I enjoy crafting cosplays and content for myself and others to enjoy. :)
Though I spend most of my days as a college student in Michigan, my favorite time of year is convention season. I am so grateful to be a part of the Midwest congoer community, which is overflowing with talented creators and cosplayers I get to call friends! Traveling the country to enjoy conventions, compete in contests, and connect with others is a dream come true, and I am so glad to have found a hobby that has lifted me up through hard times and improved my life tenfold.
I cannot express enough how much the support I've been shown over the years has meant to me. With each new build and project, I continue to grow, and I hope you all are along for the ride! Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit more about me. :)
Cosplay Awards
In addition to the awards here, I was recognized as a Guest Cosplayer for Anime Night Chicago in 2026, Ramencon in 2024 and a Featured Panelist at Evillecon 2025! I am grateful for all of the recognition I've received for my hard work as well as the opportunities I have been offered because of it. :)

Prospit Dreamer John Egbert- Homestuck
This costume was patterned myself! The pants and shirt are fully lined, featuring clean french seams, invisible slip stitching, and my first attempt at both bias bound and flat felled seams! I enjoyed working with different weights of interfacing to find the perfect sturdiness for John's shoulder pads, getting the fit as tight as possible without the use of closures, and picking fabrics that enhance the "comfy pajamas" feel I wanted the Dreamer costume to represent.

Opal- Steven Universe
In addition to making her cosplay, I performed in the Evillecon masquerade to a track I mixed featuring multiple iconic Opal songs and voice lines from Steven Universe. My performance was enhanced through my use of shiny, reflective fabrics and audience participation!

Theuden Davut- Heir's Game
I recieved my first cosplay competition award when I was recognized by Lunaladyoflight through Ramencon's contest in 2023! I was complimented on my tailored shoes, detail painting, handmade buttons, and my dye job on both the waistcoat fabric and pants. Fun fact- Theuden's vest is made from an old jacquard tablecloth! This photo was taken at Indy Popcon 2023, where the build was first debuted for competition!
